  My 7' fast act. casting rods tip broke off.  only 1" approximately.  If I just glue a new tip on how much would this affect the rods action and performance?  Would it just make it a x-fast. :-[

    trimming the tip actually slows the action but increases the lure wt. range.  Rod power would not change.

    If only 1" you will not see much difference.
