What's your biggest catch from the yak / canoe?  Mine are:

- Huge flathead on a junebug / chartreuse Zoom Trick Worm + Spot Remover 1/4 oz shakey head

- Saltwater striper I would estimate between 8 - 10 lbs. on a Storm Twitch Stick, pearl

- 24" LMB; not sure of the official weight, on a black Zoom Trick Worm + 3/8 oz green pumpkin Picasso Shak-E-Football (can't say enough about this jig!!)

Since Pike are one of the Largest fish in many systems here, they often account for some of my biggest fish each season.

On my last trip out in 2015 (late Nov) I landed my PB pike - fun way to wrap up the year.

 7 lb 12 oz Largemouth in 2007. Caught on a Spinnerbait in the spring.

Though I don't know what a connect scale is ~ the Accu Cull Digital Scale & Fish Grip combo works well.

Threw out a small rattle trap, red/craw colors, let it 
flutter down to the bottom.

I lifted it a tad, thought I caught a log. Then the log
started moving...and moving...and moving. Took me
about 75-80 yards before I ever saw what was on my
line... Most fun freshwater catch of my life, I'd say.
Right next to my PB.

The flathead was the same way for me.  I felt the tiniest twinge so I set the hook, and......nothing.  Then it just took off, and took me close to ten minutes to land.  Funny thing about that one is that while it fought like hell, it just kept going around pretty much in circles.  It didn't really leave it's "hole", I suppose.  From the looks of his back, he must have rolled several times.

The striper, OTOH, I caught in an impoundment where they are not at all native.  Someone is putting them in there, and as such it was the last thing I thought I would pull up.  Like your catch, it was right at sunset.  I threw one last cast of the Storm jerk bait and right as it hit the column, BOOM!  It hit it like a d**n train, and ran around for a few before I was able to land him.  Great stuff...

Nice.  I just found out these guys are native to some of our waters down here.  I didn't measure it because, quite frankly, they freak me out. They also bleed like hell.  For reference, the swimbait is 6" - I estimate it was probably 26" - 28".  Weighed no more than 2lbs max.

How much did the LMB weigh?

Caught this striper a few summers ago on my kayak. I was trolling a 6XD, thought I was hung on a rock at first, and then for most of the fight I was pretty certain it was a big cat, but this was a pleasant surprise!

I do not know. I never weigh them. Don't like hanging them by their jaw as that can do damage to the big ones. I would weigh them in a net but then that would be another thing I would have to carry along in the kayak!
