i made these for a friend, he wanted juvenile pumpkinseed, so i gave it a shot. i like the body a lot and it matches the pictures pretty good, but something about the face bugs me. i need to work on that. just doesn't look like pumpkinseed to me, so i call it somekindasunfish.

i really like the way the body is. awesome.. the face isn't bad either, but i know what ya mean how it bugs you, i like the way my body's come out ,but its hard for me to paint eyes, and its always the eyes that bug me on mine. i see it looks like you bought eyes for yours ..but if i had to guess it has to be either the gill line or the blue lines that's buggin ya, but to me it looks pretty good.

i didn't make the bodies lol, they're rattlin raps. guess i shouldn't have said i made them, i meant repainted them.

and yeah, its the blue stripes that bug the hell out of me. they just look cheesy, and they're not the right color either.

i knew what you were talk-in bout.... i wouldn't sweat it looks good man, i cant paint half as good as you yet,i paint my own for testers and i have to send mine off to br members for the final ..lol  ...i have found that using a verity of hair combs can make a back stripe pattern

I really like the shades of green you used for it, nice scaling also. For the blue, you may try to blend it into the bait with the airbrush and have softer edges. Or you could try more of a transparent blue on the face. Overall though, it looks good
