Cabot Guns

Featured Replies

I read recently in our local paper that Cabot Guns is making a matched pair of pistols from a 4.5 billion year old meteorite. Last year the company acquired a 35 kg. portion of the Gibeon meteor, which was discovered in 1838 in the sub-Saharan part of Africa now known as Namibia. An offer of $250,000 was already made from a collector but these pistols will likely be sold at auction. Estimates run from $500,000 to more than $1,000,000. Apparently Rolex has used tiny portions of the same meteor in some of their watches.  I just thought it was an interesting article.

They make a beautiful piece.

Unbelievable machining tolerances!

They are only for the "More money than brains club" though!
