Softer baits question

Does anyone know of a way to "soften" existing soft plastic baits so they are softer than they come from the factory? Specifically speaking of berkley power baits. Some colors are softer than others and I'd like to soften them up just a little.

    I think there was a thread in the Fishing Tackle Forum recently about the same topic and question. Check it out. If I remember correctly, there were some great tips and techniques in there.
