anyone fishing in central arkansas area?

I fished the Saline River last week and not a bite.  Targeted bass and walleye with slow crankbaits, jigs and plastics.  Heading to Lake Maumelle in the next few days to see what the white bass are up to.  Usually fish for them from my kayak west of the HWY10 bridge.  You could always try and go chase some trout below Carpenter d**n on Lake Catherine.  They are supposedly biting pretty well there right now.

Sounds good, i live in maumelle and been been fishing conway a lil bit but havent had much luck

I fished Old river at England and we caught 10 bass about 2-3 lbs. each. Full of eggs. Catch and release. The week before that I caught a 5 lb. Walleye at Ouachita River. The rain and up and down weather has them acting silly. I heard Lake Conway was good for Red-ears on the bank with Crickets. When the water drops a little more, go to MT Ida and fish Rocky Shoals for small mouth. Tube jigs, and flukes work well. Beetle spins yellow with black spot 3/8 oz.
