slip cork

Featured Replies

I've always crappie fished using a slip cork but i've never tried using one while bass fishing. Could it possibly be vital during the spawn? My thoughts are maybe by using the slip cork it might permit me to suspend the bait a little longer in a preferred location or depth. Also, would it be better to use a small soft plastic or a small jig??

I always use a heavy drop shot during the spawn, it is the basic idea of what you are saying, you can suspend it in a certain spot, but also once you get the weight onto the bed you can keep it there until you get a bite.
