Looking at purchasing the ZX Crankshaft in 7' for all around crankbait rod.  Anyone have a review of these new Crankshafts?  The specs on the 7' rod are 1/4 - 1oz which covers about everything i throw. 

Most reviews of those rods are positive, I haven't heard of anyone not liking it. I think you should consider Cabela's return policy and buy it, because if you try it and don't like it you can always return it for something else.
