Replica Mount for Largemouth

Featured Replies

I am leaving for georgia in a week with my girlfriend, my dad and my boat in tow. Our destination is lake seminole fishing for Spawning bass. My Father and I both have high expectations that this is shaping up to be a trip of a lifetime. Our goal is to try for something in or close to the double digits weight wise and if it is accomplished we would like to get it mounted. I would love to have the trophy but morally it feels wrong taking something that big out of the system that time of year. Does anyone know of a good place to have replicas made at a good price i would love to surprise my dad with his fish of a life time.

Thank you in advance,

You don't ever need to kill a bass for a mount, any good taxidermist will have molds that replicate your fish. You should get a good color photo while the bass is fresh and healthy and measure the length / girth so a replica looks like the bass you caught.

Lake Fork Fish mounts have a good reputation and reasonable prices.
