Help me identify these lipless crankbaits, please!

Featured Replies

They are very similar to Cotton Cordell Super Spots but do not have the embossed writing on the side.  Two of the are the same colors as CC baits.  They have a raised gill area and a 3D red eye.  I can't remember where I got them from.  The lips are flat across like a Rat-l-trap instead of rounded like the CC's or SK red eye shads.  Any ideas?

I would still guess Cotton Cordell.  I think I have 2/3 of those myself.  Probably picked them up at Wal-Mart in the $1.96 box on the bottom shelf. :)

They don't shimmy on the way down like a Red Eye, but rip one through a school of and nobody cares!

They are the "blister pack" Cotton Cordell baits you find at Walmart.  They will catch fish but the box Cotton Cordell super spots work better and as much lower speeds but the blister pack ones work fine too, just a little different.

I thought that was what they were but the different nose, eye, and gill bulge threw me off.  Thanks for the help.

Are they still considered Super Spots or do they have a different name?

I think these are the "bait bonanza" lures.  I may have gotten them from Dick's or Walmart.
