Hi, Just went on to the Loomis site looking at rods and noticed the the GL2 line is gone , I haven't been on there for awhile ,anyone know how long they've been gone ?  

No idea but if I were a betting man,  I'd say around the time the E6x or whatever it is was introduced. 

Around September, I purchased a GL2 spinning jwr on clearance at DSG. So that's my guess. But good riddance, those were decent rods, but they weren't worth $200. Like all of my Dobyns casting rods weigh less than the GL2 spinning rod I own.

LOL, I have 4 of them ,,, but have GLX , IMX and Gl3s as well....
