So I bought a bunch of tungsten barrel and worm weights thinking I can turn them into dropshot weights...but now I can't figure this out. I don't need a line pincher attachment, but I do want a swivel in there somewhere to reduce line twist. 

 

Any suggestions? 

I actually like to fish a bullet sinker on the end of dropshots - especially if I'm pulling through brush or rock.

I slide the sinker on the line and then tie something on the end (bead, swivel, split ring) to keep it from sliding off.  Sometimes, I'll just pinch a split shot on the end - they have the tendency to slip off in a snag, which can be good or bad.

Most of my fishing is done in shallow water and I almost exclusively use a #4 splitshot for dropshotting. They work, if you get snagged, the sinker slips off and you don't lose the whole rig. And on top of that they are super cheap!! I wouldn't use a tungsten dropshot sinker, at least not in my waters. I would lose too many too fast.

Before the current design of drop shot weight we simply slid the weight up the line, tied a overhand knot near the end and pinched on a small split shot to use a stopper and slid it down to the overhand knot, slid the weight down and then  tie on a small swivel close weight and clip off the the line. That was the drop shot weight, tie the drop shot hook on and tie the tag end to the swivel. Little more work but you can make this up using any sliding weight shape.

I do it all the time , i just run the line through the weight around 3 times then tie an overhand not at the top
