I recently moved to the ATL area and have been out on Lanier a few times with a guide to get acquainted with how the lake works / what works here / seasonal patterns, etc.  I'm now on my own as I have a boat but no one I know here fishes.  If anyone knows the lake well and is interested in getting out on the water / splitting expenses I'd be interested - your boat or mine. I'm in my 30's, a professional and easy to get along with.  Btw this is mainly for spots and largemouth.

I don't know the lake all that well but I used to fiah it frequently with my old club.  I don't have a boat but I am willing to get some lines wet with you.  Lmb are best caught on the northern end but they seem to be be getting rare thanks to the spots.  Spots can be found around points, docks and sharp drop-offs all over the lake and they fight like a rodeo bull.

i've only fished up there a few times in the kayak so i'm not a ton of help.  from what i've read here lately, they're all over the docks.  this past weekend they had a tournament where you could only use spotsticker baits and i believe 19lbs won it.  most said they were just running docks.
