Coosa River Bass Club / Alabama

Featured Replies

I want to throw out an invite to anyone around the Pell City area along the Coosa River chain that we have started a new Bass Club. (COOSA RIVER BASS CLUB) We will meet once a month, as close to our next tournament as possible to make sure everyone knows all the details of the upcoming tournament. We will fish one tournament a month and hopefully have ten tournaments a year to determine the champion for that year. The lakes will be voted on the month before by votes among the members. Most lakes will be part of the Coosa River chain. ( Weiss/Neely Henry/Logan Martin/Lay) It will be a team/boat tournament where each boat competes as a team and the largest five fish from that boat will be weighed to determine the winner.

As of right now we have 12 members signed on and with more interested in joining. If you are interested in joining us or knowing more about us you can contact me through the site here and I can give you more information.

April 2nd is our first tournament on Lay Lake.

Hi Anderson,

Thanks for your interest.

What type of information you need about us? If you have a Facebook page, you can also find us there at Coosa River Bass Club. This page was just set up, and the information on it will be presented to the club at our meeting this Thursday night.

Do you live near Lincoln/Pell City/Talladega?

Hi, I am interested in your Bass Club. I was a member of Lay Lake Bass Masters years ago. I am in the Lincoln area now on Logan Martin. Is this strictly a all boater club or do you allow non-boater membership? Thanks!

We have a mix of boaters and non boaters. Our last tournamnet for 2017 is November 4th on Logan Martin but we will be starting our 2018 season in February through November. Our yearly meeting will be in January going over everything and electing new club officers.

We do fish the three main lakes on the Coosa, Lay, Logan Martin and Neely Henry. Its up to the members as which lakes we venture out to but all will be in Alabama and on Saturdays.
