I just got my first JohnnyMorris Baitcast with a wide spool,its HighSpeed 6.3.1 ,what would be the best bait to use on it ? All the others i have are the narrow spools.About a 120 yards on them compared to a 160 yards i think .  GodBless & Thanks a Million

i'd use it for baits you're really trying to lob out there (like a lipless crank that can really fly).  OR i'd say use it for a technique where you're using much bigger diameter line like 16-20lb line.

The advantage of s wide spool is that there is less difference in IPT between the full spool and with a long cast out. I'm not sure it's all that critical, but it's something .
