Oneida Lake

Featured Replies

Any members ever fish this lake? Heading there in July for a week. Any tips would he appreciated. .

Throw an A-rig haha! Oneida is a fun lake so it's neat you will be spending a whole week there. You'll probably have success with whatever you usually like to use for targeting summer largemouth and smallmouth bass.

I've read a lot about this lake, because like yourself, I will be heading up June 26th and fishing until July 2nd! But what I found was swimbaits and drop-shot for smallmouth. But when you find the smallmouth schooling, you should be using a topwater! For largemouth I've read that during the summer months they're in the weeds, which tells me that you have to flip the cover!
