Any good place to fish lmb in the 209 or close to this area? I'm already fishing the Delta, Lake Commanche. But hard to find when you don't own a boat. 

Frank, drive down into the 559. You have Eastman, Hensley, pine flat, bass lake, success, kaweah and the aquaduct. Fresno has sycamore island. The forebay at los banos for stripers. But, you are on the Delta. I would not venture out. For the delta, invest in a kayak. Compact, easy to transport and gets you on the water. Go to Dicks sporting goods and look at the pescador. Great starter boat.
