What is your lightest bass baitcaster setup? With my Steez LTD w/roro xspool, ceramic bearings, i have 20lb braid to 10lb blue label and a Expride 7'2" ML, it all weighs at 10.4oz.

That's why I got rid of my 2019 Antares...

I have 4 casting setups, But my Daiwa SV103HL on a Phenix Feather 7'3"XH is my favorite setup. I like it better than my Steez LTD on my Xpride. It's my go to setup for almost everything.

Has anyone fished Fox Grove in Modesto? Have you caught anything and if so, with what?

Just the enjoyment of fishing. I think a lot of us forget to enjoy fishing. Yes it's a sport, but for me it's just relaxing. Gives me time to think.

So what is the difference between this Bantam and the 18'?

All of my reels are from Japan. So they fit all of mine, Steez, Antares, Bantam, SV103HL and my TD103ML perfectly. I just use it on the front side plate or on the rear behind the spool on the Antares and Bantam. I've never used them for much more on the reels.

If they are slotted, once in a while the screwdriver can slip out and scratch your reel.

I don't like the stock screws that come on fishing reels, especially the slotted screw heads. I found these on amazon, they are stainless button heads that fit most reels. I've replaced all my frame screws on my Daiwa's and Shimano's with these. They take a 1.5mm allen wrench. They will save you from getting scratches on your reels. Screws

Same here. Was quiet, cast really good, good strength, but it frayed really easy. I stopped using it. I have new spools of it, but it just sits in my line box.

Got my first baitcaster in 2002, it was a Abu Garcia EON. But as for a master? Not even close. But I'm decent and I can make it work for me.

For me the Zillion because I have other daiwa reels with parts that interchange. But the Bantam is hard to beat.

Nice handle and knobs. Roro are always out of those knobs.

I do own the XT version and love it. Great reel, smooth, good drag system. I have the 30X size and use it for bass, shaky heads, ned rigs and such.
