I used my new lews mb today paired with a pistol grip old lightning  rod ..its so light its akward seems like im missing something.Anyone else feel me .btw that reel  is what the hype is was casting 1/4 oz lipless too far.for my 5'6" pistol grip had 10 lb big game singing

I'm wondering if it's the 5'6" length of the rod making it feel light and awkward.  Try to throw it on a longer 7 foot rod and it might be better balanced.

I busted one out joking with my buddies one day. Its pretty awkward using those short poles with baitcasters. I havn't perfect my one handed casting yet but I bet that's what they're better for. I'm over 6ft so a 7ft 6 rod is well in my range.
