anyone know the drive shaft bearing( pastic bushing) size on a citica 100dsv its also the same as a curado 100d instead of the plastic one its a metal bearing .. thks in advance ..

diai have i have 2 they fit my hand well and cast great ..i think ppl believe it has only mag setting for casting ..use both thats why it has a clicker on the crank side and your thumb ...any reel can be tamed regardless

dicks had the newest lews gen 3 combos for 16$ marked down from 150$ i bought 2 ..id never even buy them unless they was marked that low . see how they go .i use abu 4600s and 1500c mostly collecting them now ..a few revos none bought new...my reel to use now ..is curado citica 100 sizes along with 50es and calcutta 100 or 50s . they fit my hand perfect , set and forget ..all i need ive tried 70 size still like my little shimanos and small abus ..they keep on goin..

rods under 50$ okuma stratus .. 39$ at dicks and shimano sojourn rods 39$ on amazon..i use both and they are durable and light with good components and fit a variety of reels well..

my fav old reels are small round abus 1500 s and the 100 and 50 sized shimanos curados citica chronarchs calcuttas.. they all work perfect and fit the hand as good as anything modern ..

300$ for the reel make it a used 200 size shimano conquest and a 200$ g loomis...

small shimanos are hard to find now and when u can wow they doubled in price. glad i grabbed them curado 100d and citica 100s when i did...along with 4 100 size Calcuttas .they hard to find as well ..and run about 100 used..

i have a revo sx gen 4 mine has infi spool how did your shaft break ..was it in the spool or in the crank plate ..oops wrong part..but how did u break the drive shaft thats a new one for me...juust curious as i own a few revos

i like my revos all are used bought used i prefer the gen4 over any of them..i wouldnt buy them new...now i have a arsenal of shimano curado/citica 100s in various models. and also Calcuttas 100s.... ive used other shimanos ..but IMO the Japan made ones all the best...Malaysia made not bad but the Korean made abus are smoother and more palmy ..

i have 4 Z series and also 5 SS series ...i use penn grease on the gears and they keep goin and goin ..they aint light but they always work...new drag disc are a must smooth drag or penn ht100 ..

That part i dont know lol the cross bar was pushed way in it was hitting inside i was about to trash it and neeedle nose to rescue..pulled it out filled hole with glue it worked..btw all thumb to buttons are plastic the abu ones are way more sturdy then a lotta the low pros which i have seen broken..

Never broke one myself but ive seen them broken i own about 100 of them...you can replace them if it brakes though just pull out the cross bar with a pair of pliars and turn ..i had one that was loose so i experimented ..and a little glue it was fixed..

I have 3 shimano curado 100b for sale they are small and have deep spools . And will handle 6 lb line ..

imo a 5'6" pistol grip M for topwaters and a 7 med h. For anything else...mono on both ..and both will have a clapped out 4600c9 ..or curado 100Ds...either is great and can handle anything id fish for
