If your cast control cap is too tight it wont cast like it should ...

Abu garcia no longer produces the 4600 size reels and of course the 4500... This took a while as abu kept sending me links to buy other abus

Cast control cap loose or way tight gotta do that before anything..thumb button down and the lure should drop real slow..

Who's cranking hard enough on a reel made for mono to break a stem...the spinning reel isn't a winch. Its manly for storing line and casting the drag comes into play when ur working the fish with the rod shouldnt be reeling when fish is pulling

You can get revo x with a metal frame for 70$ new sometimes 80$ reg ..and parts and ease of fixing up are a major...id lean that way IMO
