Looking for heaving flippin  rod. I'm loving all my dobyns champions. But am considering the lews. I love lews reels and held a custom speed stick the other day and it felt sweet. Help me here. I have champ extreme 746 and kistler 7'1  worm and jig rod. I'm looking to get a big boy for punching, like 7 1/2 to 8'

My brother picked up one of these rods the other day and I got a chance to fish it a little. I have to say they are some sweet rods, incredibly light and sensitive. I think picking one of these up would be a smart move

Do it!!! Depending on your height I would recommend staying closer to the 7'6 area for your punching. I have two rods 7'10 and 7'11 and use my 7'6 the most here in south Florida.
