Owner Flashy Swimmer

Featured Replies

I haven't heard or seen these jigs heads till a couple of days ago. I thought I would spread the word for those who like small paddle tail swimbaits. Threw it for the first time today in the 1/4oz 5\0 hook. Did well enough to buy some more. I don't have much luck with spinnerbaits so this will be my shallow water bait. Caught about 8 bass on it and nothing special but it was a tough day. Owner flashy swimmer try some.

I ordered some keitech for the same reason. I'm gonna be fishing bass champs tournament on Falcon Lake and I will be tossing these in the trees and shallow rocks.

Good bait. Check the connecting ring at the lead head & crimp it if needed. I had the spinner blade & wire come off on one.

Yeah they're not bulletproof. They do need a little mending while in use. It would be nice to see if Siebert outdoors could make a similar setup with better components. Until then they work fine for the time being. I should have lost it to bushes about 10 different times but it always came out after A little game of tug O war.

Love em!

Awesome! been fishing them w keitech baits also. Comes through cover and grass very well. Like it better than a spinnerbait. And u can get it to work higher or deeper in the water column by using a bigger and bulkier swimbait or a smaller one.

Weird, I just came across these for the first time today. I was gonna pick some up, but grabbed some TRDs instead. Guess I'll be heading back tomorrow...

I use 5/0 for 5 inch baits and 3/0 for 3.5 inch baits

Gambler makes a version that looks pretty good as well and you can make it yourself while on the water and change blades to fit your style. I have never really used them but it sounds like I should. I use the blakemore road runner style heads which are different but I like the looks of that weighted hook and blade since I fish most of my swimbaits without a skirt or jig, so that would help add flash and I bet it is much easier to fish than a spinnerbait...I need to check those out..

it looks like you just put the plastic onto the screw type bait holder

but I wonder if anyone is 'secretly' threading the bait onto the hook

I have them in a few different sizes. Nice rig. While I use Gammies almost exclusively for regular hooks, I do like quite a few Owner products for jig heads with hooks. I.E. Flashy Swimmers, Ultra Shaky heads, etc. My buddy swears by the Sled head style Ultra Heads.
