Bass Assassin swimbaits

Featured Replies

Can anyone comment as to the quality and productivity of these compared to staples such as Keitech, Reaction Innovations, etc? Bass Assassin baits look just like them at a little better prices. The Elite Shiner looks like an Easy Shiner, the Boss Shiner looks like a swing impact fat, and the Turbo Shad looks like a skinny dipper. Anybody using these? Impressions, comparisons?

I have used the Turbo shad over the years for smallies and did well with it. I did find though when I tank tested them they needed a little more speed to get the tail working than a skinny dipper, but I think that also gave it a more subtle kick with the slightly stiffer tail.

I've been catching them on the die dapper for awhile. They are hard to beat for what they cost

been using assassin baits for years, great quality, colors. fish love em.

I just picked up a few packs of the elite shiner swimbaits that a local shop had on clearance..The colors are really good, very similar to the Keitechs, very soft, and they are good quality. I have not fished them yet but they are no doubt very good quality. Bass Assassin makes quality soft baits, especially swimbaits and flukes. The Die Dapper comes in some great colors and work great and the 4" Turbo shads are super popular for Walleye and saltwater and as swim jig trailers....Down here the Flukes they make get alot of use, it is just rare you see them in stores...

For the price you will be happy...They look and feel just like the Keitechs and the colors are really good, better than they look online....Hope that helps. I have never purchased a bass assassin product I was not happy with, and I have been using those jigheads they sell on their website for .25 which are like the super slider weedless jigheads and fit most soft baits perfectly with a 5/0 Mustad long shank hook, 1/8-1/4 with a vertical line tie...Great deal, if you order from their site, pick some up...The eyes fall out, but for .25 and 4 colors as an overstock it is a steal for jigheads that sell for packs of 3 for $6 usually.
