My buddy says he has a 5'6 Lamiglas excel?

Just wondering if anyone has ever come across one of these rods? What has anyone thought of it? What do you think the value is?

    Unless I'm mistaken (which is possible,) Lamiglas didn't make a 5'6" Excel bass rod.  It's probably been broken and re-tipped.  If that's the case it's worth nothing.  If it is an unaltered rod, it's probably worth about $50 in good shape.
