getting rid of cover????

Featured Replies

Why do resouviors and lakes get rid of wood laydowns. Just why?? Prime habitat gone. Just a rant I guess.

On reservoirs where the water levels change a lot, logs and wood get loose and can become a serious hazard to navigation. That, plus the lakes are usually managed for electrical generation and water management first and the fisheries are not a priority.

I just say this cuz these laydowns been there for years. I went to the lake for the first time this year to find that 90 percent of the laydowns on this lake have been removed. Just kind of a shocker. Oh well I guess
