I'm replacing the drain plug housing on my boat it has a leak. Having trouble getting the threads out any tips?

Use a jab saw  or a hacksaw blade to cut a section out,maybe 3/4" to 1". Remove that and the rest should collapse with a small chisel or screwdriver.

The person who put it on use 5500 but I finally got it and the new one is installed!!
