Does anybody use their Bass rig to pull Skiers and Tubers?   Just curious as to how friendly you find the bass rigs to be for this type of use?  The only way I will get my wife to agree to a bass rig is to convince her we can use it on the weekends for family stuff.

Any help with "examples" would be appreciated.

I've tried.  My boat is difficult to keep on a plain and below 30mph.  Not many skiers I know want to go that fast.

I've thought about it, but I've never had nerve to pull someone on a tube at 65mph.  Sounds like fun though, as long as I'm driving.

We tube off my bass rig every July. I had to by a harness that hooks to the tie down U-bolts on the boat but it works. Only problem is very limited seating and hard to re board the boat with no ladder.

man tubing is awsome, i lost my glasses last year tubing to 30ft water. you wanna get a boat that can do atleast 60-70 for tubing. anything beow that is just lame.

A fish-n-ski boat is the perfect option for you.  Has the ameneties of a ski boat plus has a pedelstal seat up front, livewell, etc. for fishing.

Most of the major boat manufacturers make a fish-n-ski model.

;D I have gone tubing in a bass rig before and they work fine, but aluminiums dont work for that because they are to light or that is what i have been told.

Check out the SmokerCrafts.  good value and roomy for the family stuff.  I had the same type of discussion with my wife last year.

I would never recommend SmokerCraft.  I owned a '98 model aluminum bass boat and it literally fell apart on me.  After only 2 years of normal use, the hull split on the bottom in two places, lost 26 rivets, and nearly sunk - and SmokerCraft wouldn't honor the warranty.  >

Absolutely the WORST customer service, and WORST built boat I owned.  I couldn't get rid of it fast enough.
