trolling motor

Featured Replies

My old trolling motor kick the bucket a couple days ago and I been looking for one and I can't decide on what I want I like the bow mount but it going to be use for my 1436 and my 1448 so the 1436 don't have a way to mount a a bow mount on my 1436 but on the 1448 will have a deck but I can only afford one right now so I really don't know what I want to do. I have seen a boat on a local lake that has  a transom mount on the side how well Would that work?

May I ask what actually happened to your old TM? The reason I ask is I spent a good part of Saturday bringing new life into my TM and it really didn't cost that much, mostly my time.

It could be rebuilt but it's a 1996 model and I cut the wires that go down to the motor I never took one apart and I didn't know what I was doings. And I only paid 10$ last year so it wasnt the best when I got it and I just like a bigger one

Oh I see. Too bad but at least it wasn't a big financial hit.

You can run them on the side. You'll probably want to rotate the head around though so it's running the right direction. Not hard to do.

You might try something like this. $25 at BPS, and it should allow you to run your trolling motor from the front or back.
