My wife and I will have a free day on Friday 4/29 in the Oakland area and she suggested we go fishing. Anyone have a recommendation for a guide? We were thinking the delta would be the best option but are open to other suggestions. 

Matt Allen, Cooch, or Bobby Barrak are all great options.  If you want to throw big swimbaits on Clear Lake, Paul Bailey is also a great option.

Chances are pretty good they will all be booked with that short of a notice, but the only way to find out is to call.

Thanks for the response. I reached out to them and no one was available. Looks like we will have to plan better next time. 

Cooch is the man!  I always catch his seminars at Mel Cotton's every year...he has a very chill/wise demeanor that would work well for an all day fishing trip.

It's Memorial Day weekend....no chance to get any guide for that date this late.

Cooch would my suggestion, can't him for a future trip.
