May cold front in Port Saint Lucie

Featured Replies

A cold front came through today with lots of rain. Yesterday the temp was 80, today its 65 and expected to drop to 63 by tomorrow morning and more rain forecast for tomorrow then warming again. The home lake was clear and warm and will see what all the rain did when I get home from work.

For education and fun, how about making suggestions for productive lures/technique after this weather event and I'll report what was successful  fishing tomorrow evening?

For my vote if the water is dirty, then a rattle trap or spinner bait, if the water is still clear then finesse worms and wacky senko's (current effective pattern)

Sure wish I had an answer. Thought about hitting the Savannahs in the kayak after seeing some pix on Instagram from Stuart Angler. Been itching to get out but the couple of times I did I didnt have any luck. (on foot)

Cant even get the little ones to bite in the backyard canal. Just turtles.
