Has anyone had luck finding bed fjsh in oregon

Featured Replies

Has anyone had any luck finding bed fish in lakes or ponds around the Portland area. My friend and I were planning to some bed fishing this weekedn, bit the water temps still seem too cold. Just wondering if it's even worth looking for bed fish or should we just fish pre spawn baits.

Thanks Matt

I am in SoCal and visiting friends in Big Bear lake where the water temps are about 50 degrees, the spawn will not start here for another month.

Where I live in SoCal the spawn was over by March, the difference is elevation 700' vs 7,000'.
