I have a 1984 Dawson Bass 17.5' boat built in Pensacola, FL  I am missing the data plate and want to get another one reproduced.  The company that is going to do it in 304 stainless can do a generic one but I want one that is proper and correct that includes max engine size, passengers etc.  Does anyone have a Dawson that  they can send me a pic of of their as a sample?  I know the size of the plate but that is all.  Of course I will use my VIN on it.  I have seen some a post on this site from another guy which owns a Dawson.

According to the MIC database from the US Coast Guard, DAW = Dawson Boat Co. of Pensacola, FL from 1981 to 1992. The prefix "DAW" was reassigned to J & J Industres in 1997. The Coast Guard recycled the prefixes after a few years of a boat building being out of business
