Your post was just as much "stirring" the pot as the OP.  Just saying.

It's called the law of diminishing returns. I really think after about 130-150$, you stop seeing where your money is going, ie. No more added bearings, nice handles, ect. Anything over that is really just charged bc thats what the Market says it's worth. Just my .02, and for the record, I own a CI4, and love it lol.

Attention: Disgruntled Shimano Ci4+ 1000 spinning reel owners. Contact me to sell your Junky reels at a low balled price..

I think you need to retitle your thread to not how overrated the CI4 is, but how underrated the Pflueger Supreme is.  I agree with you 100% as I tried the CI4, but preferred my Pflueger Supreme's over it (I have 10 spinning combos and every one has a Supreme on it.  Just a great reel).

I agree with this. Nothing wrong with the CI4 or CI4+, both are great reels IMO, but I really like the way the Supreme reels handle and even more how much they cost. They are great reels and I've started updating almost all of my spinning outfits with supreme's as well!

Like I posted earlier, I wonder how the 2016 version will be compared to the current model.  The 2016 looks more like an FK with red and black trim added to it.
