Featured Replies

Has anyone used this canoe and would it be good for lake fishing? If not can y'all recommend some other canoes around 500? I know I should probably buy used and would like too but don't really know where or how

I bought the 146xt about 5 years ago for around 500$ as it was a floor model at LL bean. It's a great canoe, plenty of room for 2 people and a bunch of rods and gear. Light enough that I can load and unload it on my cars cross bars by myself.

I made a trolling motor mount and put a 50lb minnkota on it and it zips around my local reservoirs and lakes. I also attached a transducer to the motor and mounted a depth finder. There's a lot you can do to modify it to how you like. You can't go wrong

Thanks for the reply, how's the durability and are the seats comfy?
