I have no idea how to solder wires. The wires itself don't appear to be damaged, but the black cover is opened and they are hanging out

The transducer cable that goes into my fish finder was sliced open by my trolling motor prop and won't read anymore. Any suggestions for a fix? Thanks

Got one for Christmas haven't been able to use it on the water yet but the demo mode is good and it gets good reviews. Fish show up as arcs on sonar, unless you have the fish ID on
