Small Lake Fishing

Featured Replies

I will be fishing a 127 acre lake this weekend. Map of lake below. Will be fishing two people out of a 12' jon boat. Our plan is to start in the top cove and work our way to the right. lots of docks along the bank. We will launch at 5:30 and fish spooks, ploppers, and buzzbaits. we will follow up our missed strikes with wacky rigs. we will work counterclockwise.

What tips do you have for following topwater up with wacky rigs?

What two baits work best if two people are throwing topwater?

Where are the bass likely to be (top area is rocky, bottom is mud)?

Where will the bass spawn?

Anything else?

Very similar to a lake I fish. What state is it in?

PA, what about yours?

SC, so the spawn is over and it's pretty much fishing like summertime right now. Senkos have been working well for me lately
