Motor Problems

Featured Replies

I have a 77 Ranger Aztec, (Please bear with me) I'm changing over the motor.  The problem that I'm having is the steering rod that is attached to the steering wheel does not fit into the shift of the motor.  I can get about an inch of the rod into the shift but thats it.  Does anyone know if I have to bore out the hole in the shift or do i have to push a little harder.

Thanks
