Smallest lure that you

Featured Replies

Last summer I caught a ~4 lber LMB on a 2" rebel jointed minnow

Both of my 5lb smallies were on the smallest Panther Martin they make.

I caught a 20 inch LMB on an 1/8 oz. Beetle Spin.

Using a tiny ultralight hula popper (maybe 1.5 inches long) for bluegills on a 5'6" berkley bionix ultralight rod with 4 lb test stren on a old shimano speedmaster 1000 sized reel, I caught a 6.3 largemouth,.took forever to get him in without breaking off. My buddy said if he didnt witness it, he wouldnt of believed it.

When I was younger I used to use a very small jointed bait I got from my grandpa. The only markings on it say "inch minnow" and the bait is really only an inch long. I caught numerous bass on it, the biggest being a little over 17" so it would have been somewhere in the 3 lb range. I also caught a 19 incher while panfishing with a 1/16th oz jig and earth worm under a bobber.
