First frog fish of 2016!

Featured Replies

Nothing better than fishing for half an hour and being rewarded with that huge jump out out the mats for a frog! Missed a few good ones in the slop though.

Nice frog fish man. Getting warmer here time to pull the frog out and head for the pads

Thats awesome. I cant wait for froggin. We are just starting to see some vegetation here in Maine. I have had success with a Super Spook Jr around fallen trees and some shoreline areas. And of course active pickerel biting the topwater. I specifically purchased a new baitcaster set up with braid for padcrashing. Nothing like a topwater explosion.

Nice!

Booyah pad crasher

Nice fish! I'm waiting for the vegetation and pads to sow up. Just starting to see the Lilly emerge.

My favorite way to catch them.
