Parameters of the question are small 1000 sized spinning reels with carbontex drag washers... What are the pros vs. cons of greased drag washers vs dry drag washers?  How are you running yours?

There's no real need to grease them where heat dissipation isn't needed like in salt where fish make long, hard runs. Some find them a slight bit smoother when greased. I run mine dry for the most part. If targeting good sized fish on very light line like 4-6# I might put some Cals on them.
