What type of line should I use when fishing with live worms?

Featured Replies

I fish with jerkbaits and live worms. I have braided line on my current rod, and I am getting a new rod with Berkley big game mono line for my jerkbaits. I was wondering which type of line I should use for live worms, I fish in light cover in ponds mainly for bass. So out of mono/flouro/braid line, which should I use? Thanks!

Braid or mono will work fine for live bait.

Flouro would be my recommendation as a leader if you are concerned with fish being scared off by line visibility.
