  1. My favorite crankbait is a rattlin rapala, and the description says it can be fished at any depth. I have caught many fish on it in a lake that was 1-2 feet deeper due to rain, but haven't had much luck since. How do I control this depth? (I use fluorocarbon line) Thanks!
  2. So when you go to buy jerkbaits, do you pay attention the the lure weight recommended on the rod? Is that range important, or is it just a recommendation? Sorry for bugging you
  3. Thanks I think I will get it I appreciate your help. Do you have a reel suggestion? (I am left handed)
  4. I am looking for a quality spinning jerkbait and wacky rig rod for a price up to $85. The qualities I am looking for are a length between 6'6 and 6'10, with medium power and moderate or moderate-heavy action. I will be using 10Ib fluorocarbon line. Can someone recommend a rod like this? (If I am being too picky for the price please tell me.) Thanks!
  5. Off of docks, not near shorelines.
  6. I fish off docks in 15+ ft water, and deep holes in lakes 20+ do you think crankbaits would work better here?
  7. I fish lakes and ponds around Ohio. I fish live worms, a wacky worm setup and jerkbaits. My problem is when I go to non-clear water out in the open. I heard jerkbaits aren't very effective in muddy water, so I don't know what bait to turn to. (I also have a beetle spin I frequently use.) Thanks!
  8. I fish with jerkbaits and live worms. I have braided line on my current rod, and I am getting a new rod with Berkley big game mono line for my jerkbaits. I was wondering which type of line I should use for live worms, I fish in light cover in ponds mainly for bass. So out of mono/flouro/braid line, which should I use? Thanks!
  9. Thanks! Which Ib should I get?
  10. I fish Rapala's ment for 5-10 feet in open water. I was wondering if I should use a mono or flouro line for my jerk bait fishing. Thanks!
