Memorial day trip ideas in VA?

Want to take my kayak somewhere new this Monday for some bass fishing. I live in Newport news VA and am willing to drive 2 hrs to a spot. Any ideas? I fish the chickahominy and surrounding areas a lot. Thanks for any ideas!

There is lake Maury in Newport news then lakes in Suffolk or the Nottoway river in Franklin

Upper Potomac for some good smallie fishing. Think that's more than 2 hours though.

Fishing isn't allowed on lake maury I live right next to it. They let people rent their boats out on weekends for like a month a year.
