This little one took a tumble out of the nest this morning.

It is! Just a late March storm for us. Got 5-6 inches and it was all gone in 2 days. Hope y’all are on the water sooner than later.

Took the old lady on a hike

My “keys” to get into work tomorrow. 60-70 mph gusts today.

Mother Nature gave us a weak winter in the DC area. She’s making up for it with 30-40 mph winds and 60-70 mph gusts. Started at 1 this morning and is supposed to let up tomorrow morning / afternoon. Coulda covered a lot of water on the kayak today.

I can’t remember the last time I was sick. It’s been at least 4 years. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing

Potomac River Little bit of everything

We lived in Aviano Italy for 6 years (Pops was Air Force). Mom learned how to make a mean Carbonara. Rolled out and cut her own pasta. Wish she woulda left a recipe. It’s one of my favorites. Pasta Aglio E Olio is up there too. Planning a trip there this summer hopefully.

Upper Potomac looked pretty cool this morning. Blue sky and storm clouds blowing out. Sycamores were poppin too.
