Bought a 10xd crank bait this weekend, took 1 cast to realize this will require special gear.

Can you guys suggest a reasonable cranking rod for deep diving crank baits such as 10 xd, and 6xd.  Already have a low gear Lewis tournament mg 5:4 gear ratio to use just need a rod.

You need something that will handle up to 3oz. with a moderate action. Very few rods fit this bill, so do some research online and determine how much you're willing to spend and what is the best option for you.

I use a buddy's D806cb, probably use it more than he does haha. But that rod is amazing, I'll be purchasing one in the next few weeks.

Enigma Aaron Martens line has a 7'11" MH/Mod that I use which handles 10XD's with ease. 

Matt Cashion makes a heavy cranking stick. 

Phenix makes one. 

iRod makes one. 

There are a lot of options.
