Two questions. If the first is answered then the seconded shouldn't really matter.

1. Is there anywhere to buy Fenwick Rod Blanks? I'm specifically looking for the blank they use for the Elite Tech river runner 6'9" fast action light blank

2. I like slimmer handles, such as on the HMG model but I like the specs of the Elite Tech better. How much of a hassle would it be to buy an Elite Tech then switch out the handle to something similar to the HMG. I feel like if I did that I might as well just buy a slightly more expensive rod and save the hassle. 

Thinking about or making a custom rod or ordering one and I have recently fallen in love with fenwick rods. But it doesn't seem like you can really buy them. 

I don't know if fenwick rolls their own blanks. A blank of similar action could be sourced I'm sure. Rebuilding or modifying a handle can be done without too much trouble but building from scratch is probably easier for a newbie.
