Damiki airfrog rigging

Featured Replies

Ok so I bought a pack of these awhile back and misplaced them until recently. I had forgotten thick these things appear to be. So what hook are you guys using for the best swimming action / hookup ratio ?

I use the 6/0 Beast hook as recommended by Bryan Thrift in the Damiki videos. I should say used. Found these frogs are a plow through everything and collect slop on every cast. Used them on one trip and threw them in my crap lure drawer. I bought 4 packs of them too.

Hate to hear that but luckily I only bought one pack to try out unlike the 4or 5 packs I usually buy when trying something out . You know just in case it's the best lure ever and I want to make sure I have extra. Thanks

Yes they are heavy and the nose does not really go over anything.  When you crank it the nose digs into what ever is in front of it.   Not a fan so far.  I was using size 5 EWG or swimbait hooks for them
