Would it be a bad idea to use 15lb braid on a Yumeya BFS Magnesium spool?  i have one in my curado 51e and was considering spooling it with 15lb braid and using it on my senko rod.  BUT i don't want to risk damaging the spool with the braid if that's a bad idea!  Right now i have 8lb copolymer and it works fine.  But i would like the hi viz yellow to aid with line watching and i also would be able to get a little more line on the shallow spool with the 15lb braid smaller diameter.

I don't 15 braid would be a problem.  Just be careful breaking off snags.  I use 10 an 15lb braid on my finesse spools.  

I think those spools are braid-safe.

I wouldn't pull braid with any spool. Go for it and just use your head in handling it. 

I used 15 lb braid on mine exclusively. It's not an ultra fragile spool like some. Just be aware when freeing snags.
