Floating plastic craws?

Featured Replies

Damiki air craw has air pockets in the claws. I would imagine it would float weightless but never tried. Its designed so the claws float up off the bottom

came here to say this.....  they float very well and make one mean jig trailer too.  they're also surprisingly durable on the body, but the craws can get ripped off fairly easy.

Z-Man but the entire craw floats, not just the claws.  I like the Damiki air craw as well, the claws go up in a defensive stance.  Agree about the claws on the Damiki being a bit prone to tearing off.  I had one on a jig and after enough casts, I made a cast and the claws both popped right off and went flying.

Ha, was just about to start the exact thread..

I was watching one of those Japanese videos and saw a floating insect lure (18:17). Looks like a cool bait to catch finicky bass.

Anyone an idea what that lure is, or if there is something similar around?
